After long  time I finally started to "fine-tune" and document my cockpit. It is not any specific cockpit of an airplane, but a generic one. I'm fan of GA and corporate jets and I did not want to invest too much effort to build my first one perfectly. Rather I used "simple to build" approach and I focused on how all modules are working togheter, what offsets use etc. and later I'll build "the real one". Some of my cockpit components are "replicas" from Pilatus PC-12 (Overhead, Bendix King autopilot, EFIS and CAWS panel ... you will see later) because I started with this "swiss knife" aircraft and I still like it very much and will definitely belong into my favorite ones forever. Next one of my lovest is Cessna Citation X and this could be the "real one" where I'll move all the elctronics later. The "heart" of my cockpit is build around FSBUS and almost all articles will be about "How to connect and programm all components, buttons, encoders, displays etc. and get it work with FS".  Small but very important remark: Everything is working with majority of FS planes (except some PMDG and others where developers did not follow FSUIPC "standards"). I will explicitly write what is some aircraft specific, but don't worry it'll be just some special features. I fly with Pilatus PC-12, B737 , LeerJet45, Cessnas 17X, 18X, Baron etc. and everything works.... (Most of the time Citation X).

tak ako aj ja, tak aj mnohí z Vás ste sa v priebehu posledných rokov vyzbrojili kvalitným hardwarom a spoločne sme sa tešili na príchod nového leteckého simulátora. Na jeseň 2006 síce nový simulátor s poradovým číslom 10 (FSX) dorazil, ale po takmer 1,5 roku sú naše pocity z neho zmiešané. Jeho grafickú úroveň, reálnosť simulácie, či nové „features“ sú bezpochyby ďalším krokom vpred, otázkou zostáva prečo si toto všetko nedokážeme vychutnať pri plynulom zobrazení, bez trhania a šklbania obrazu a s vysokým FPS aj na iných ako defaultných lietadlách, či letiskách(?)

I would like to share with you my expirience with FS Passengers and what to do in case when gear will not go down or stay partialy retract. It happend to me couple of weeks ago when I flew to Salzburg. "Famous Dieter" had ATC Control over Austria and he recomended to me to do go-around and said "that after go-around FSPAX releases gear and I will land as usually". This was (and is) not true. I did 3 go-arounds and nothing has changed. The same story (unable to set gear down) happend to me yesterday when I was finishing 11th leg of Aruba IFR tour in TJSJ - San Juan - Luis Munoz Marin. After my unsuccessful attempt in Salzburg I read FSPAX manual and I found that FSPAX supports belly landing. I tried to set gear down several times but without any success so I declared emergency and prepared for belly landing - no go-arounds anymore...

 Tak som sa konečne "dokopal" k tomu aby som aspoň v stučnosti dokončil moju malú reportáž z FS Weekendu 2007 z holandského Lelystadu. V galérii pribudla nová zložka s fotkami k tejto časti.

    Po návrate do haly som znovu zamieril ku “stánku” FSBUS, kde sa práve “nejaký dedko” dal do rozhovoru s pánom stojacim v stánku. Keď som sa priblížil, tak som si na menovke visiacej mu na saku prečítal Dirk Anderseck a konečne som sa utvrdil v tom, že ten s ktorým chcem hlavne pokecať je tu. Sám ideový tvorca FSBUSu.
